Unitree's Wang Xingxing: Exploring Humanoid Robots, Mecha and More Product Forms

Unitree Robotics chairman, general manager and chief technology officer Wang Xingxing said during an online roadshow that the company's listing on the capital market marks a completely new starting point. “We will stay true to our original aspiration, solidly refine key technologies, and continue to deepen the development and industrial application of general-purpose embodied intelligent robot core technologies,” he said. Wang added that Unitree will continue to tackle soft and hardware key technologies such as embodied large models, scenario data collection and analysis, reinforcement learning, embodied body models, self-developed core components and high-performance actuators. The company will actively explore more product forms and models, including humanoid robots, quadruped robots and mecha. According to Wang, the goal is to enable robots to undertake high-intensity and high-risk physical labor, release human creativity, and advance robotics technology to benefit society. This strategic direction comes as Unitree prepares for its capital market debut, positioning the company to expand beyond its existing quadruped robot lineup into more diverse humanoid and mecha products.
